Meanwhile, Nate and Amaya continue to get closer, but it could cause serious ramifications.Victor Garber also stars. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Ray Utarnaachitt.
Land of the Lost, of course, was a ’70s TV series produced by Sid and Marty Krofft, which centered on a family who are trapped in an alternate universe inhabited by dinosaurs, a primate-type people called Pakuni, and devolved, aggressive humanoid/lizard creatures called Sleestak.
The series was revived in the ’90s, and each time ran about 3 years. In the mid-2000s, Will Ferrell and Anna Friel starred in a film adaptation.
DC Comics stories, of course, feature plenty of alternate universes, dinosaurs, intelligent primates, and lizard people — but it’s likely safe to guess that “Land of the Lost” is teasing the dinos, since those are the most prominent element of the show.
