Step right up! The CW had released photos for "Freakshow," the second episode of Legends of Tomorrow's upcoming third season.
The episode will find the Legends heading to 1870 to correct an anachronism that just so happens to be at P. T. Barnum's fledgling circus. However, the Legends end up being the real circus when Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) accidentally release a saber-toothed tiger.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained in a recent interview that the anachronisms the Legends would be dealing with in the third season were "people, places, and things that are displaced in time," which explains the saber-toothed tiger. However, Guggenheim said that fixing the anachronisms have their own challenges.
"I wouldn't say that they're [anachronisms] are harder or easier," he said. "I would just say that they are very different, because what makes the stories more interesting is it's not just about whether or not Julius Caesar is removed from his time and you've got to put him back in the box, it's what did he do when he was displaced that has screwed things up? So now there's multiple problems to solve."
And the Legends definitely have multiple problems to solve. Nate and Ray may be trying to catch an escaped tiger, but P. T. Barnum (guest star Billy Zane) has set his sights on making Nate and Ray the new attractions in his show.
