Veteran voice-actor Tara Strong sits down with DC All Access' Tiffany Smith and discusses returning to the role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl for the upcoming R-rated, animated adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke. During the interview, new footage of Batgirl is shown throughout.
"I can tell you that in The Killing Joke, Barbara Gordon will not disappoint the fans who have been waiting to see this story," Strong says in the video above. "It's completely dark, and she does stuff that she's never done on any series I've ever worked on. So, she's strong and she's older and wiser, but ... dark. It's really, really a cool place for her to be."
What does it take for a person to snap? How much despair for a mind to fracture?
