New Preacher Clips: Jesse & Cassidy Go Shirtless

AMC has released a two more clips from this Sunday’s “Sundowner” episode of Preacher.

In the first sneak peek, which takes place shortly after Fiore and DeBlanc have informed Jesse that the powerful entity inside of him is Genesis (the offspring of an angel and a demon), the preacher rushes out of the diner when he sees the mysterious men from Heaven stomping on a woman. In the second sneak peek, Jesse and Cassidy — who are both shirtless — explain the tattoos on their bodies while they clean their blood-stained clothes.

The episode’s official description reads: “Jesse finally comes face to face with Deblanc and Fiore and learns about the mysterious entity that has taken over his body.”

Based on the popularcult comic book franchise of the same name, “Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted anddarkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who isinhabited by amysteriousentitythat causes him to develop a highly unusualpower. Jesse,his badass ex -girlfriend Tulip andan Irishvagabond namedCassidycome togetherand when they do, they are thrust into acrazy world populatedby a cast of charact ers from heaven, hell and everywhere in between.

“Preacher” was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (“This Is the End,” “Superbad,””Neighbors”) and showrunner Sam Catli n (“Breaking Bad”). The sixth episode of Preacher, “Sundowner,” will air Sunday, July 3 at 9|8c on AMC.
