The story centers on Clark, Lois, and Jonathan visiting Washington, DC.
After visiting a number of tourist spots, the family stops off at the World War II memorial, prompting an examination of heroism in the DC Universe.
The story is a one-and-done in the same vein as the family’s trip to the fair back in Superman #7, and context clues point toward the Kents being on the move from Hamilton to Metropolis as of the events unfold.
Gabe Eltaeb provided the colors and Rob Leigh the letters for the issue. Superman #28 features a standard cover from Ryan Sook and a variant by Jorge Jimenez.
Superman #28 comes to comic shops, ComiXology, and other digital formats on Wednesday, August 2. You can ask your local retailer to reserve a copy or pre-order it digitally here.
