Superman (2025) 4K Blu-ray Adds a Lenticular Edition For Launch Day

James Gunn’s Superman starring David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane was a hit in theaters, and now the Blu-ray release is right around the corner on September 23rd. Unfortunately, the limited edition Superman 4K Blu-ray Steelbook with the Fortress of Solidtude slipcase is sold out everywhere, but there is a consolation prize thanks to Walmart. They have launched a version with a lenticular cover that shifts between Clark Kent and Superman mode, and it’s arguably cooler than the Steelbook. It’s available to order here at Walmart for $29.95 at the time of writing, but as a limited edition, we expect it to sell out sooner rather than later.

Note that you can still get your pre-orders in for the standard 4K, Blu-ray and DVD releases, though we’re not sure why you would opt for the standard 4K when Walmart’s lenticular edition is the same price. Details on special features can be found below. Speaking of limited edition Superman things, we also suggest checking out James Gunn’s Superman Timex collab before it sells out. Only 1000 of the watches will be sold.
