Wonder Woman has many powerful artifacts at her disposal, from the lasso of truth to her bracelets, her tiara, her sword, and even her invisible jets.
One of those artifacts just became a little bit more real. Man At Arms: Reforged has created a replica of Wonder Woman’s powerful shield from the DC Universe.
Specifically, Man At Arms: Reforged is created a Wonder Woman shield inspired by the SHIELD from the Wonder Woman movie.
That may leave some fans wondering how this is any different than the actual SHIELD prop used for the movie. As is explained in the video above, the prop for the film is meant to look like a real shield, but not to actually be struck at full force, meaning some of the details are there in the facade but aren't real.
For example, the movie shield appears to have rivets and concentric circles to absorb the shock of impact, but Man At Arms: Reforged had to actually install those rivets and carve out those circles.
As you'll see in the video, the results speak for themselves. The replica Wonder Woman shield is capable of standing up to arrows and other assorted projectiles. It is truly a shield worthy of an Amazon princess.
