As if there wasn’t already enough to get excited over with Bandai Namco‘s fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ, Game Informer went and released a plethora of new screen shots that highlight some of the more recent additions to the game.

The team has provided a closer look at many elements that will be included, which we’ve included in the attached gallery.
First up is Captain Ginyu, who joins up with his mighty Ginyu Force throughout FighterZ when it comes to putting up a fight. The thing is, he can actually call upon secondary members of the force to assist him in battle, kind of like how partners help each other out in the Marvel vs. Capcom games. To see them pop up and provide a few extra hits is actually pretty cool, though some may wonder if that makes Ginyu a little too powerful for his own good. It doesn’t really look that way, though โ a lot of the characters in FighterZ come packing all sorts of power.
One neat ability is allowing Ginyu to body swap with opponents so he can deliver extra damage. We haven’t seen an ability like this before, but it looks awesome as hell.
Next up is Nappa, and he has plenty of explosive attacks to his credit, all of which can be unleashed with a wave of his hands. He can also unleash a Giant Storm and pummel them into near-oblivion with a well-timed blast โ something fans will definitely want to try out. Now let’s put him against Vegeta and see who’s left standing.
Finally, we get a closer look at the story mode and the choices that you’ll be able to make throughout the game, including dialogue selections, which aren’t as deep as, say, Mass Effect, but still lend some personality to your character. It’s also nice to see secondary characters get involves, like Vegeta and Frieza, as well as good ol’ Piccolo. There’s also a peek at an open map featuring a variety of characters, which will help make Story Mode easier to travel.
So, yeah, there’s a lot to see in the gallery, so enjoy. And look forward to Dragon Ball FighterZ when it arrives this February for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
