This Super Famicom Nintendo Switch Skin Is a 90s Kid's Dream

Someone just took the Nintendo Switch custom skin game to a whole new level. The folks over at POP SKIN have just released a new Super Famicom Nintendo Switch skin set for the console, dock, and Joy-Con controllers, and it looks absolutely stunning. Check out the glammer shots in the gallery below to see the controllers and console all decked out.

Beauty comes at a cost, though. POP SKIN released a YouTube video showing the entire skin application process, and you'll notice that the majority of the video is spent showing how to carefully, slowly, delicately, apply this skin to your system.

This isn't a slap 'er on and be done with it in a few minutes kind of project. This is something that has to be done with care. The video is a little intimidating at first, but don't let that scare you off. Once you see the pictures below you'll agree that it's worth it. Check it out:

If you can pull it off, though, the results are totally worth it. We can't get over how clean and professional the final product appears, and we would love for this one-of-a-kind (or few-of-a-kind rather) Switch to sit on our shelves.

There's just something about the Super Famicom color scheme that is so appealing. Decades have passed since the release of the Super Famicom, but it remains one of the prettiest consoles we've ever seen; much better than the boring gray and purple color scheme that North American gamers ended up with. That's coming from someone who still owns and loves his SNES, by the way.
