A few weeks ago, The Pokemon Company released an English version of “The Magikarp Song,” a heartfelt ballad dedicated to extolling the virtues of the most worthless and pathetic of all the Pokemon. Now, a new Pokemon music video has hit the web, this time starring tiny versions of Magnemite.

“Where is Magnemite” is a minute long video challenging viewers to find miniature Magnemite in different everyday scenes. The Magnemite are hidden everywhere from a garden to a bathroom to hidden among a group of Unown. You can check out the full video above and

The video appears to be a tie-in for a goofy merchandise campaign featuring Magnemite with goofy and bizarre haircuts. A tie-in webpage shows off the Magnemite with all their goofy fashion sense, and asks fans to vote on their favorite hairstyle. Those who participate in the voting contest could even win a custom shirt featuring the most popular Magnemite hairstyle.

We’re not exactly sure what to make of this new Pokemon music video and the accompanying merchandise tie-in, but it’s definitely seems both bizarre and adorable. Check out the music video and let us know what you think about it on Facebook or Twitter!
