ARMS Trailer Shows Off the Bootylicious Twintelle

Nintendo has just released a brand new trailer for ARMS, introducing the world to its bootylicious new fighter, Twintelle. See her action trailer above.

Twintelle is a fascinating character, not only of the immediate and pervy fan-base that she accumulated right after her reveal in the latest Nintendo Direct, but for her design as well. Twintelle is one of the few characters in ARMS who doesn't boast a mutated body with unnatural arms as weapons. Instead, she fights with her hair. She and Mechanica are the only two 'normal' humanoids on the ARMS roster for now, which makes them rather special.

Twintelle has a few other features that make her special as well. She has a very unique arm that she can use which seems to shoot a bird as a projectile. Whether the bird has a limited range or can travel the distance of a stage is unknown, but judging by the trailer, it looks like it can fly a decent distance before returning like a boomerang.

Twintelle also has the ability to temporarily slow down time in her immediate aura. This, apparently, gives her time to dodge attacks that would otherwise connect directly. Perhaps this is triggered by guarding while in the air, as it seems to be separate from the dash button. Could this affect fighters who are nearby, or does it strictly apply to arms and attacks? We'll have to see.

The trailer also gives us a great new look at Twintelle's themed stage, with plenty of obstacles and barriers to take advantage of. Four cars are parked around the perimeter of the stage, which will give you plenty of props to jump from or else hide behind when facing an overly-aggressive opponent. It's a festive and busy stage, which is perfect for Twintelle as she lives the busy and festive life of a global celebrity.

We'll be seeing more of Twintelle very soon. ARMS launches on Nintendo Switch on June 16.
