Destiny 2: Every New Super Revealed
We were drowning in new content and new information during the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal stream. [...]
Dawnblade (Warlock)

Just like in the original Destiny, the Warlock has the coolest super in Destiny 2 so far. Maybe I'm just biased because I mained a Warlock, but I'm pretty sure that's an objective statement. In Destiny 2 the Warlock will be able to wield the Dawnblade. This is a flaming sword which grants the Warlock the ability of flight. You'll be able to glide above your opponents, raining down flaming comets of fiery death your sword. These puppies are pretty powerful, and everything that they touched in the trailer was destroyed in a single hit. The projectiles remind us of the Titan's hammers in Destiny, and those things were OP.
We couldn't tell from the gameplay if the Warlock is able to use the Dawnblade as a melee weapon, but we would assume that's possible.
prevnextSentinel (Titan)

The Titan has abandoned his Thor getup, ditching the hammers, and has opted to pretend he's Captain America this time around. The Sentinel super will enable the Titan to summon some kind of cosmically charged shield, which can block incoming enemy fire. While it functions as a really great shield, it's much more appealing as a weapon. We see the Titan is able to bash through any enemies who get in his way, taking them out in one shot.
We also see that the Titan is able to throw the shield Captain-America-style as well. If you have several enemies before you standing in a group, the shield will bounce off the lot of them and take out multiple foes in a single shot. It looks pretty sweet, and will probably be the go-to for Titan mains for a long time depending on what else Bungie reveals.
Last, but not least, we have the Hunter...
prevnextArcstrider (Hunter)

We said that we favored the Warlock and his (or her) super, but the Hunter's Arcstrider comes in at a very close second. First of all, the name "Arcstrider" just sounds amazing. This basically turns your hunter into a cosmic Kung Fu master. A mystical rod is summoned, and the hunter is able to wield it with amazing speed and agility. Like something out of The Matrix, the Hunter will fly through enemies flipping, twirling, pounding, and smashing.
As far as we can tell, if you're unfortunate enough to get in the way of the Hunter's acrobatic line of attack, you'll get taken down in a single blow. We'll be interested to see if all three of these supers register one-hit kills in PvP modes as well, or if they're toned down slightly to make things more competitive. More on that soon.
In the meantime, let us know which Super you think is the coolest. Weigh in on the poll below and rep your class.
