Destiny 2: Getting Your Hands On The Secret Traveller Ball
There’s a ton of content to unlock in Destiny 2, even after the game’s over. And one of the [...]
Purple Ball
First up, you'll have access to this ball. To begin your journey, you'll want to make sure you foot it over to the balcony right above where you first find Lord Shaxx around the tower. (Pay him a visit in case you need a reminder.) You'll see a large circle that's drawn on the ground. Simply kick the ball into it and that'll be the end of your first journey. You'll even see a few fireworks go off to show your success. Return to the previous location, and you'll have access to a second ball, the Green Ball. Moving on.

You'll actually need to cover a bit of distance with the Green Ball, as it has to make its way down to the main courtyard. Follow it down and make your way to a small dead-end stairwell that's close to Tess Everis. (Again, pay a visit if you need a reminder where this character is.) Guardians will appear, and you may need to kick the ball around them or maybe even deal with them. Once you kick the ball down the stairwell, fireworks will go off and you're ready to deal with the third ball in the puzzle, the Black Ball.

This one's going to be a little bit trickier, as you'll need to kick the Black Ball up a level, instead of rolling down. It'll take a little time, but just kick it straight up the path near its spawn point, and over to the end of the pier. You should be able to spot where the pier is, as you'll see a number of workers that are right by it. Once you get it all the way down to the end, you'll see a few more fireworks go off, and the final ball, the Blue Ball, will appear. Get ready to finish this quest up!

Finally, you'll need to take the Blue Ball over to the center of the catwalk, which sits between the two piers. In case you need a reminder where this is, remember where Lord Shaxx and Commander Zavala are, and that'll give you an idea. You need to make absolutely sure that you don't kick the ball off the Tower while avoiding Guardians, or you'll need to start over. Once you get the ball to that space, the fireworks will go off one last time, and a giant ball that looks like the Traveler will be available to you. The ball is yours!
If you need some video hints on where to find these locations, you can check out TL;DR's clip below. It'll help you out a bit.
Destiny 2 is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and will release on October 24th for PC.
