Dragon Ball FighterZ had one hell of a showcase at PAX West this weekend, as you can see with our hands-on impressions of the game. That said, Bandai Namco wasn’t resting on its success to get us through the week, as the company has released a new trailer that features a very familiar character in action โ€“ Goku!

Though the trailer is a bit on the brief side โ€“ it doesn’t even last 30 seconds before cutting to the conclusion of the video โ€“ it’s still pretty awesome, as it gives you a glimpse of what kind of super attacks Goku is capable of, including a rather fierce uppercut and other Super Saiyan charged moves that will knock opponents into the middle of next month if they’re not careful.

The game, which earned plenty of raves from fans and critics alike since its initial unveiling earlier this year, has been seeing a lot more action as of late, including reveals for characters like Androids 16 and 18, as well as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. And we’ve only hit the tip of the iceberg, as Bandai Namco is likely to have more character reveals in the months ahead, leading up to the game’s release early next year.

Though Goku is not really a surprise considering his stature in the Dragon Ball Z lore, it’s still great to see him in action, especially when it comes to finishing someone off with a well timed “Kamehameha!” or something along those lines. You can check out the trailer above.

Dragon Ball FighterZ releases next February for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
