Well, here's some good news for Microsoft for a change – there's one game that won't be delayed in 2018 for the Xbox One X.

The publisher has confirmed that the latest racing effort from Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 7, has officially gone gold, meaning that it's ready to publish and will meet its release date next month. The team has now moved on to a proposed Day One update for the game, which has yet undisclosed content likely to be included.

To celebrate the game going gold, Microsoft has released a new commercial, which can be seen above. It features a number of talents, including comedian and CarCast host Adam Corolla, along with professional driver Ken Block and a number of gamers as they get their hands on many cars within the game, including the Pagani Huarya, the Porsche Cayman GT4, the Plymouth Barracuda, the Nissan GT-R and Block's Ford Mustang "Hoonicorn", which is available as part of a pre-order pack for the game that you'll get for free. The commercial can be seen above.

But for those of you that aren't sold on the game just yet, good news. You'll be able to get your hands on it before it releases. Microsoft has also revealed that a demo for Forza Motorsport 7 will be available starting September 19th. With it, you'll be able to try out three racing experiences, and tweak assists to see how the driving system adapts to your skill set.

The demo will enable you to check out the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, which serves as the cover star of the game, as well as trying out the new Dubai circuit and checking out the Jebel Hafeet Pass, which is considered one of the most famous driving roads in the world. You can also check out the Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck and see how you fare in the Nugello circuit, which takes place in Italy. So, yeah, it's jam-packed.

Be sure to check out the demo, and then get excited for the full game release when Forza Motorsport 7 pulls into garages starting on October 3rd for Xbox One and Xbox One X!
