Two Jason variations in Friday the 13th: The Game will both have their own special chase music soon to alert players of their terrifying presence.

After his recent reveal, Jason from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is set to be added into the game eventually with a new map where he can hunt the unlucky Counselors. Part IV Jason is the first killer variation to be added to Friday the 13th: The Game as part of a DLC package – not including the Retro Jason version that was just a reskin – and he'll have plenty of new, brutal kills and distinct advantages and disadvantages.

But questions still remained about the new Jason, specifically on whether or not he'd have a special audio cue for when he's chasing a Counselor. One player took to Twitter to ask Ronnie Hobbs, the co-creator of the game, about whether or not Part IV Jason would have his own custom music.

Each of the Jason variation in the game at the moment all have their own chase music to broadcast their hunts, the only exception being the Jason from Part IX. With that Jason referred to as an example in the players' tweet, Hobbs clarified that the Jason from the ninth movie will also get his own special music in addition to Part IV.

For those who haven't noticed it yet, possibly because you're trying your best to avoid the Jason that's hot on your tail, the different Jason variations absolutely have their own unique music. It might take a second to notice the differences depending on which Jasons you find yourself playing against the most, but take the time to listen closely next time you're trapped in a cabin and you'll likely notice different music that fits the different versions of Jason.

As for when these two chase themes will be added, there's still no release date available. Part IV will hopefully have his right at his release, but Part IX might get his later depending on how long it takes to add the music.
