We previously reported the hilarious way to liven up that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild playthrough through the use of mods, including the likes of Grand Theft Auto characters and the Woody and Buzz duo from Toy Story, but turns out – there’s more! Of course there is. As soon as the beloved Nintendo title received an emulator port to PC, modders came swarming and we’re happy they did because this is just awesome.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild originally came out for the Nintendo Switch and the Wii-U, and the game was instantly met with high praises and perfect scores everywhere. The stunning visuals, familiar music, and its vast open-world, it’s not surprising that the PC community immediately jumped at the chance to shimmy its way over onto their own platform of choice. With great PC ports comes great mods, and below are just a few of the ones showcased by the Breath of the Wild modding community on Discord.

Thomas the Tank Engine, Minecraft, Spongebob Squarepants, Toy Story, Shrek – there’s a lot to love. It’s like one giant meme come to life. I don’t know about you, but Link needed that Minecraft diamond sword and Epona looks lovelier than ever as Thomas the Tank Engine.

The video above not only provides a “unique” insight into the world of Hyrule, it’s also has a pretty sweet track list to go with. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is currently available for the Nintendo Switch, Wii-U, and unofficially – for PC.
