New Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen Remaster Video Shows Off Fighter Vocations

The remaster of the highly esteemed RPG title Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is almost here and to celebrate the oncoming release, Capcom has released a new video to show off the game's fighting vocations and well as other gameplay footage.

As seen in the video below, the upcoming RPG will feature nine different vocations that they can select, each with varying skill sets. The vocation chosen will come with not only its own specific set of unique skills, but unique armor types as well - similarly to that of the game's original title.

"Based in an epic fantasy setting, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen combines exhilarating and deep combat with the freedom to explore and interact in this rich and detailed world. Choose between nine different classes and embark on your own adventure along with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These allies fight independently, develop alongside your character, and can be shared or borrowed online in exchange for treasure, tips and more."

The latest video is perfect to see just how much has changed with the coming remaster, as well as a good insight for those new to the franchise. For those that are familiar to the series, or a common aspect in many RPGs, players know just how important choosing one's vocation is.

The upcoming remaster will also include all additional content that has been released since the game first made its debut. New enemies and new questlines have also been added to provide a unique experience to all that pick up the game's re-release. Be warned though ... if it's anything like the original, this game will definitely provide a challenge. But that's good, right? A good challenge is how gamers thrive.
