Usually the summer months are a somewhat slow time for gaming, but those doldrums won’t be nearly so bad for those that happen to own a Nintendo Switch. The Big N is planning a one, two, three punch combo of ARMS in June, Splatoon 2 in July, and the newly-announced Pokken Tournament DX in September.

It seems Nintendo really wants to push the Switch’s multiplayer capabilities over the next few months, as ARMS, Splatoon 2, and Pokken Tournament are all colorful, inviting, local-multiplayer-friendly romps that may encourage you to actually take your Switch out of its dock to one of those cool rooftop parties the kids today love. Speaking of the kids today, Nintendo has released a new Nintendo Switch Summer Trailer, which showcases their upcoming games, and plenty of hip, beaming Millennial faces.

We start off with some bros (And lady bros!) hanging out in an artfully decorated garage playing a little ARMS. We then join a diverse and attractive bunch enjoying some Pokken Tournament in a very tidy dorm room and with the Switch precariously balanced on a drum kit. Then it’s Splatoon 2 LAN party time! The sexiest LAN party of all time! I bet this one barely smells like Cheetos and butt sweat at all. Maybe just a little.

Guysโ€ฆam I not cool enough to own a Nintendo Switch? Should I just leave mine at the skatepark and hope it finds a more radical home? I’ll admit, it may never make it to a rooftop party if it stays with me. Poor baby.
