The Rock took to Instagram once more to share additional photos from the set of Rampage on Thursday, this time choosing to show off some muscle in a photo that showed him and another cast member at what he referred to as a "loving point."

Based on the movie adaptation of the 1986 video game of the same title, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson takes up the film's lead under the guidance of director Brad Peyton and supported by a star-studded cast that includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Naomi Harriss. As The Rock gears up to take on the three main antagonists in the film — a wolf, an alligator, and a gorilla, all genetically-enhanced, of course — he's begun posting set photos and captions that catalog the group's progress and provide a bit of insight into what to expect from the film once released.

Below is The Rock's most recent post to Instagram:

This newest photo comes not long after the posting of another glimpse of the set on May 2 that gave a more in-depth look into the CGI that would be going on behind the scenes in Rampage. In that photo, The Rock had himself positioned next to his co-star Jason Liles, the actor who will be playing the gorilla, George. George begins the film as a friend of The Rock's character, and after working closely with him, The Rock went on to praise Liles in the same post, saying that his dedication to the role was impressive and would be evident in the end result. He also went on to praise the team behind the motion capture process of the film, an element hinted at by Liles' outfit in the photo.

Rampage is planned to release in theaters on April 20, 2018, and more updates on the film will be covered as they are announced.
