Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Gameplay Teaser Previews Full Trailer

A very brief look at gameplay from Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was released on Monday to build up to the full trailer.

Essentially a trailer for a trailer, the gameplay preview offered just a few short, sweet seconds of the upcoming Wolfenstein's action, but it was plenty enough to get viewers excited for the game. Striking feat into Nazis and causing as much havoc as possible were just a few of the themes that were previewed during the gameplay teaser, but those two are more than enough to embody the spirit of Bethesda's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Wolfenstein trailer without some combat involved, so it only makes sense that the trailer would have that as well. Showing the player engaging against a mechanized foe with dual-wielded guns blazing, the next look that we get at the new game is sure to feature even more brutal combat.

And at the end of the teaser, a date was listed that lets Wolfenstein fans know that they won't have to wait too much longer to get that next look at the gameplay. Tomorrow, those who can't wait to see more of the game can check back to see a brand new gameplay trailer as confirmed by the Sept. 19 date listed within the trailer and its description.

"We're taking back America tomorrow (September 19, 2017) at 10am ET," the trailer's description says. "Come back then for Gameplay Trailer #2!"

In recent news for the game, Nintendo Switch owners received some exciting news that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus would also be coming to their console in addition to the previously announced versions. Doom is also on its way to the Nintendo console, both games that Switch owners will no doubt be excited to pick up.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus releases on Oct. 27 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC with a 2018 date scheduled for the Nintendo Switch.
