LEGO has a promotion for September 2025 that has been hugely popular, especially for anyone that was gaming in the ’90s. The LEGO Sega Genesis Controller (40769) set is available as a free Gift With Purchase (GWP) promotion on all orders of $130 or more (excluding pre-orders) though September 17th. This included the newly released LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship / Black Pearl (10365) set before it sold out. Don’t let that happen with today’s launch of the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (21360) set, which is available starting today for LEGO Insiders priced at $219.99.

The GWP set is a 260-piece brick-built reproduction of a Sega Genesis controller that can be displayed in two ways. Choose from the classic form or flip it around to display the microscale Green Hill Zone scene on the back that includes Sonic and Crabmeat.
