The anticipated Wolverine sequel now has an official title, and it’s simply going by Logan. The original unveiling was in poster form on the side of a New York building, but now the official poster image has also been released courtesy of Director James Mangold.

He’s the director that keeps on giving, as he also released an image of the script, specifically the second page, on his Twitter account as well. You can find images of both in the gallery.

The poster shows Logan holding the hand of an unknown child, which many speculate to be X-23. As for the title, many had assumed that it would be Old Man Logan, but while it doesn’t share the moniker of that fan favorite storyline, it doesn’t mean the plot won’t still use that book as a foundation for its plot.
While we don’t know the intricacies of the plot, we do know that it will include famous X-Villain Mister Sinister, at least according to Bryan Singer and that tease at the end of X-Men: Apocalypse.
Logan stars Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Gabriela), Doris Morgado (Maria), Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, and Eriq La Salle.
