Now that May and Coulson have escaped the Framework, they're trying to figure out where they actually are. Based on what he sees and what he remembers from being a history teacher in the simulated world, Coulson makes an educated guess that they are in a top-secret submarine refueling station that the Soviets were known to have built under oil drilling platforms back in the '50s.
While May doing inventory, she comes across an emergency dose of epinephrine. "It might give me enough adrenaline to take on some terminators," she says.
Coulson thinks it is too dangerous, and even if she used it, he warns May that the effects of the drug would leave her unconscious or unresponsive. She doesn't mind, though. He can just give her mouth-to-mouth.
When she notices that Coulson is acting strange and overprotective towards her, May asks: "Did something weird happen with my robot self? Did I make a move on you?"
