Marvel Comics has released the first look at Doctor Strange #12, written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Chris Bachalo. Doctor Strange #12 is the first chapter of the new “Blood in the Aether” story arc.
Doctor Strange #12 begins with Doctor Strange near death and deprived of his arcane abilities. Doctor Strange’s greatest enemies smell Doctor Strange’s weakness, enemies that include Baron Mordo, Dormammu, Satana, Master Pandemonium, Nightmare, Kaecilius, and others.
If Doctor Strange hopes to survive this gauntlet, he’ll have to do it without his magical powers. Is it too late to teach an old Sorcerer Supreme new tricks? Or does Doctor Strange have an ace up his sleeve?

Doctor Strange will make his way into theaters in Doctor Strange, the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange. Doctor Strange opens in theaters on Nov. 4.
