Since Marvel's Doctor Strange was released a month ago, the Scott Derrickson-helmed film has scooped-up $208.8 million at the North American box office, surpassing Thor: The Dark World's domestic cume ($206.3 million) and becoming the ninth-highest grossing film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the domestic box office. Internationally, Doctor Strange has grossed $411.2 million. That puts its global cume at $620 million, besting Iron Man's worlwide total ($585.2 million) to become Marvel Studios’ highest-grossing solo hero debut movie of all time. This weekend, Doctor Strange is expected to finish in a distant-third — behind Moana and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them — and gross $7.2 million.
With that out of the way, come take a look at Doctor Strange keyframe art that was created by conceptual artist Ryan Lang. This stunning collection features artwork of the astral projection fight in the hospital (with an alternate, monstrous design of Kaecilius's zealot), Kaecilius fighting Strange in the New York sanctum and the Mirror Dimension, Strange and Mordo fighting side-by-side in front of the Hong Kong sanctum, and The Ancient One and a bearded-Strange in Kamar-Taj.
