EXCLUSIVE: Infamous Iron Man #6 Marvel Preview

Doom was always good at pinpointing an enemy’s weakness, and even though he’s a superhero these days (or trying to be), that doesn’t mean he’s left that particular skill behind. In Infamous Iron Man #6, he continues his tear through the villain community, much to the Wizard’s dismay.

While the fight between the Wizard and Doom will be a focus of the early pages, one can’t help but be entertained by the paranoia conversation between Wizard and Modok. As you can see in the exclusive preview (located in the gallery), the two villains share a back and forth that really could be a fundamental part of its own series.

Dom will have his hands full with The Maker as well, something Bendis is incredibly excited about. “It was manufactured, but at the same time, it was a genuine happy accident that as we were developing Doom and developing the story and developing Secret Wars and all these pieces come together, that I was going to end up with a book about a repentant Doctor Doom versus evil Reed Richards. What a great gift that I accidentally gave myself. That on top of the return of Doom’s mother and the connection between his mother and Reed Richards is all pretty fitting. If you’re going to be writing a book about Doctor Doom trying to get his s*** together, what would be more head turning than the return of his mother and then being faced with the evil Reed Richards. I’m so excited about this book in the future, I can’t even tell you.”
