Marvel's Inhumans looks to recruit more fans to the cause, and the newest promo contains some extra footage that might do just that.
The series has been heavily criticized for a variety of reasons, but at least one aspect continues to improve with each bit of new footage. That would be Medusa's hair, which got a much-needed upgrade recently. In the newest footage more of her hair's abilities are shown, and they are looking much improved.
At one point she takes on two of Maximus' guards, tilting her head in their directions and letting her hair's tendrils do the rest. Hopefully, the show has more of this and Gorgon crushing things, because the gun play still lacks any kind of visual weight.

While Black Bolt and Medusa are thought to be part of the protagonists here, that isn't really the case. Inhumans director Roel Reine revealed to Movie Pilot that the two royal members of the Inhuman court are actually on the wrong side here.
"Black Bolt and Medusa are on the wrong side and Maximus is on the right side of reason. The only thing is his means to get there are a little bit more radical and extreme. In the end, his path is a righteous path, which makes his character very interesting."
That would certainly be a change of pace for these characters. Iwan Rheon's Maximus is often manipulating things behind the scenes in the comics, typically to the detriment of the Royal Family. At times he does it because he's bored, and at others, he borders on the edge of insane, but this time it seems he actually has an altruistic goal in mind. As Reine said though, his methods leave a bit to be desired.
After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save
Marvel's Inhumans hits IMAX on September 1st and will premiere on ABC on September 29th.
