Woglom was first revealed to be part of the show back in March, with many speculating what her ‘undisclosed’ role would be. At last month’s San Diego Comic-Con, she was revealed to be playing Louise, a human scientist who befriends the Inhumans.

While at the convention, Woglom spoke more about her character’s role in the show – as a sort of proxy for the viewers.

“I am the eyes and ears for the audience.” Woglom revealed. “The audience will learn about this world, and I’ll be discovering it simultaneously with everyone else.”

Showrunner Scott Buck also revealed that Louise will serve as a unique kind of human character, with a knowledge of the otherworldly events of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“She’s aware of everything that’s happened in the world.” Buck explained. “All of our characters are aware of what’s happened in the Marvel Universe. She’s aware that there are people out there who possess super powers, so she’ll be a little bit more ready to be among them.”

You can read the character description for Louise below.

“She is smart, intense, and focused – so focused that oftentimes social skills take a back seat. Her job at a private aerospace company is her life, second only to her passion for all things space and lunar. She’s primed to be swept up in an adventure.”

Marvel’s The Inhumans is set to premiere in IMAX theaters September 1, followed by its television debut beginning September 29 on ABC.

In Marvel’s Inhumans, after the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.
