Now, thanks to the casting uncovered by Omega Underground, it appears Warlock will appear via the latter option.
The casting call states the production is looking for a male between the ages of 20 and 60 who is over 6’9″ tall.
“We are looking for someone who is very good with movement,” the casting reads.”This is a featured principal role with no dialogue.”
Put those two sentences together, and it’s clear the production is looking for an actor to wear a motion capture suit.A move like this means Fox will more than likely get a bigger name actor to do the voice over work once filming as completed.
New Mutants is being directed by Josh Boone, based on a script he co-wrote with Knate Gwaltney. Longtime X-Men franchise producer Simon Kingberg will produce with Karen Rosenfelt.
New Mutants is scheduled for release on April 13, 2018.
