Peggy Carter Appears In Ant-Man Movie Prequel Comic

It looks like Agent Peggy Carter will be making an appearance in Marvel’s Ant-Man movie prequel comic, being released next week.

The preview released by the publisher sees Peggy meeting with Hank Pym, who is wearing the Ant-Man suit. In a move similar to how she shot Captain America’s experimental vibranium shield in Captain America: The First Avengers, Peggy opens fire on Pym to see the Ant-Man suit in action.

There have been lots of rumors that Carter, played by Hayley Atwell, would be appearing in a flashback scene in Ant-Man, likely interacting with a young Hank Pym. While this prologue does not confirm the existence of that scene, we now at least know that Peggy and Hank do have a relationship, making the flashback seem very likely.

The Ant-Man Prequel goes on sae February 4.

Ant-Man opens in theaters July 17.

Agent Carter airs Tuesday on ABC.
