Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are not the only leading men who like to give Tom Holland a hard time. Ryan Reynolds may not be part of the MCU, but the Deadpool star knows how to rib Holland over Spider-Man. After all, Reynolds did just troll the up-and-coming actor yet again.

Taking to Twitter, Reynolds shared a photo of the Vancouver Police Department to thank the team for their help with Deadpool 2. The squad was tasked by 20th Century Fox to secure the film’s set as production began on several dangerous stunt sequences. However, Reynolds appears to be under the impression that the police were working on a Spider-Man film.
“Thank you #VPD. And the great people of Vancouver for putting up with road closures and traffic delays as we film Spider-Man downtown,” Reynolds wrote before tagging Holland in the tweet.

If you haven’t been keeping up with Reynolds and his Holland gags, then you know this isn’t his first trolling. Fans were left laughing after the Deadpool star commented on Holland’s hair removal regime for Spider-Man: Homecoming 2. The British actor asked if he could just get a buzz cut for the sequel, but Reynolds recommended the actor go all-out for a Brazilian wax.
Fans also believe Reynolds made another jab at Spider-Man with a previous set photo. The actor shared his first photo from Deadpool 2‘s set back in June, and it showed Reynolds dressed as the hero. Deadpool was seen lying outside of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, and his relaxed pose closely mimicked one which Peter adopted in poster Spider-Man: Homecoming.
For those of you thinking Reynolds may have a friend-crush on Holland, then you should know it could just be the other’s suit. The Deadpool star has cozied up to a former Spider-Man actor before. Back in January, video of Reynolds smooching Andrew Garfield at the Golden Globes to comfort each others’ losses went viral, so maybe Holland is next on Reynold’s list?
