Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios teamed up for a standalone Spider-Man film with the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Homecoming. In preparation for the film’s release, the two studios also came together with the cast of the film for a press conference in New York City.
On hand to take questions from reporters from all around the world were Peter Parker actor Tom Holland, Tony Stark actor Robert Downey Jr., Adrian Toomes/Vulture actor Michael Keaton, and the supporting cast of Laura Harrier, Jacob Batalon, Zendaya, and Tony Revolori. Executive producers Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal were also on hand, along with director Jon Watts.

During the 30-minute press conference, topics ranging from plot details to the casting choices were covered. The room full of reporters was eager for answers following the brilliant reception to the film which was screened twice in the nights leading up to the event.
“It was one of a handful of well, ‘This will never be possible but let’s dream about it’ moments at Marvel Studios,” Feige said of Spider-Man’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “And then we’re sitting in front of all of these people in orange chairs today, having made the movie, and it’s incredible.”
