Wolverine's Claws Are Showing In New Logan Image

On Thursday, 20th Century Fox held a special 2017 preview event in which it screened footage from Alien: Covenant, A Cure For Wellness, War for the Planet of the Apes, and the first forty-minutes of Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine solo film, Logan.

Our own Brandon Davis attended the event and shared his thoughts, which you can listen to in the video above. He makes sure to point out how the film's violence and mature language will easily earn its intended R-rating and the young actress (Dafne Keen) portraying X-23 delivers a standout performance.

Additionally, as part of the event, Fox handed out a Logan photo book to members of the press. It almost entirely contains stills that the studio has already released via the film's official social media sites, but we did come across one brand spanking new image.

As you can see below, it features Logan standing next to his customized 2024 Chrysler 300 limousine in a defensive posture, with his claws out. He's preparing to go slice and dice a bunch of thugs with makeshift weapons. While share any details about this scene, I'm sure you can imagine how it unfolds. SNIKT!!!

The film stars Hugh Jackman (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Logan/Wolverine and Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: The Next Generation) as Charles Xavier/Professor X. The cast also includes Boyd Holbrook (Gone Girl), Richard E. Grant (Game of Thrones), Stephen Merchant (Movie 43), Eriq La Salle (ER), Elise Neal (Scream 2), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black), and Dafne Keen (The Refugees).

The film is being directed by James Mangold (The Wolverine), based on a script by Michael Green (American Gods) and David James Kelly (Mind Mgmt).
