Dewan Tatum took to Instagram to share the couple’s Nightmare Before Christmas themed costumes with Dewan Tatum dressed as Sally while the future Gambit was dressed up as Jack at the request of their daughter, Everly. Check out the photo below.
“When your daughter asks for Sally and Jack, you give her Sally and Jack. Happy Halloween everyone,” Dewan Tatum captioned the photo.
Dewan Tatum also shared a photo of the 4-year-old Everly trick-or-treating in her own costume. While the littler girl didn’t join in her parents’ Nightmare Before Christmas theme, she did light up the night — literally — in a pair of illuminated wings.
Yesterday’s elaborate Sally costume is actually the second time Dewan Tatum got all dressed up for her daughter last month. Earlier in October, Dewan Tatum dressed as a fairy for Everly’s school carnival, though the wings didn’t hold up quite as well as Everly’s illuminated ones. Dewan Tatum captioned the carnival photo “This is the wings smashed, Mom somehow ends up holding it all, I survived preschool Halloween carnival nature fairy look.”
The Tatums weren’t the only celebrities who took costume advice from their children. Actress Kristen Bell, who voices Anna in Frozen, dressed up as her character’s older sister, Elsa, explaining that her daughter wanted to wear matching costumes and Elsa was her choice of Disney princess.
As for Tatum, he will be moving on from his impressive Jack costume for the X-Man Gambit soon enough. A recent report indicated that the Gambit movie is still planning to shoot in New Orleans and the film has a planned February 14, 2019 release date.
