All three films are expected to have a weekend box office total in the $16.5 million range, but the race is currently too close to call.

American Made is the favorite to take the box office this weekend for the time being. The film is the most critically well-received of Tom Cruise’s recent efforts and was only projected to open in the $13-15 million range. However, a first Friday total of $6.1 million puts the film on track for $16.55 million over the weekend.

On the flipside, Kingsman: The Golden Circle was projected for an easy second-weekend win with $18 million. However, the film seems to be slowing down at a greater pace than expected. The film earned $4.87 million in its second Friday at the box office and is now pacing towards $16.5 million for the weekend. That would put the film’s overall box office total at $66.2 million.

In its fourth weekend at the box office, It remains strong. The film earned $4.9 million on Friday from 3,917 locations. It is now projected for $16.2 million over the weekend. That would put the film’s new box office total at $290.1 million. It is now the fifth highest grossing film of 2017, trailing behind Beauty and the Beast, Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The Lego Ninjago Movie moves into fourth place in its second weekend at the box office. The animated comedy is expected to earn $11.8 million from 4,047 location, briging its overall total to $35 million.

The remake of Flatliners rounds out the top five this weekend. The film is expected to earn just $6 million over its first weekend at the box office.
