Earth is reeling from one too many superhero and super-villain clashes. These face-offs have led to billions of dollars in damages, and forced heroes with superpowers into hiding. Rannazzisi plays SuperBat, who has lost his fortune, mansion, and the joy he once got from crime fighting. Rex will appear as Dark Jokester, a baddie who wants to freeze the world. Michaels, will appear as SuperBat’s mentor and the man who whips him into shape. Smart takes on Jean Wonder, SuperBat’s wife and Dark Jokester’s kidnap victim. In order to fight Dark Jokester, SuperBat reunites the Avengers of Justice, a group with members such as Beaverine, El Capitan South America, and ThorBacca.

Smart is best known for appearing in Road Trip (2000), The Butterfly Effect (2004), and Just Friends (2005). Rannazzisi is best known for starring in FX’s The League and getting caught lying about being in one of the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. Rex is well-known for appearing in three of the Scary Movie films, and Michaels is a former four-time WWE (a.k.a. WWF) World Heavyweight Championship.

The cast also includes John D. Hickman (King Cobra), Tony Cavalero (The Duff), Brent Tarnol (Project X), Justin Castor (Switched at Birth), and newcomer Rose Lane Sanfilippo.

Avengers of Justice: Farce Wars is being produced by SSS Entertainment’s Shaun Sanghani, written by Richard Dane Scott, and directed by See You in Valhalla-helmer, Jarret Tarnol. Jeffrey Giles and Michael Lurie are executive producing and their company, Automatic Entertainment, will handle worldwide sales.
