The cast and director of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 spoke to Yahoo about the film and hinted at things to come for the franchise. When asked about Electro as the villain of the film, director Mark Webb hinted that there may be more in store. "[Electro's] the main feature, to be sure," said director Marc Webb, "but there are going to be other surprises that we're coming out with. I'd say there's really one big, bad villain in all these movies and that's Oscorp." Webb went on to say that all the bad things in the Amazing Spider-Man universe seem to come from Oscorp, and that each film in the Amazing Spider-Man trilogy will have Peter Parker confronting a different part of that empire. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2, 2014.
