Considering the onslaught of marketing we've seen for 20th Century Fox's Deadpool movie and Super Bowl 50 just hours away, comic fans everywhere are asking themselves is Deadpool a Broncos fan or a Panthers fan? Well luckily for you, we asked the man himself!
Yesterday, ComicBook.com's Ron Richards met up with Ryan Reynolds and TJ Miller at the Sister Margaret's School For Wayward Girls to play some pool, but also get down to the nitty gritty, who do Deadpool & Weasel have their money on when it comes to the Big Game.
"Deadpool is going with the Panthers by 10," Reynolds remarked. "This is on film, the Super Bowl has not happened yet, by 10."
Surprised by Reynold's answer Miller quipped, "Weasel's betting on the Panthers and the Broncos with different people's money."
However the game might not go down according to plan. "I think they're both going to do a song and number, snapping menacingly to music," said Reynolds. "It's going to be great."
To cap off the conversation, Miller left ComicBook.com with profound insight, "Either way, someone is going to win."
Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
So ComicBook.com readers, do you think Ryan Reynolds has the right idea? Let us know in the comments below!
