Dwayne McDuffie

Dwayne McDuffie, comic book creator and producer, died of complications from heart surgery. He was 49. McDuffie wrote the screenplay for 'All Star Superman', the animated film released earlier this week by Warner Home Video. His comic book writing credits include 'Justice League of America', DC's 'Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight', and more. But his greatest legacy will be his co-founding of Milestone Media, a landmark company that created multicultural comics and characters, including Static and Hardware.
