Image Sends MUDMAN #1-2 Back to Press

Following on the heels of last week's sellout of Brandon Graham and Simon Roy's Prophet #21, which came in the days immediately prior to the release of the issue to the direct market, Image Comics announced yesterday that the first two issues of Paul Grist's superhero coming-of-age book Mudman will come back for second prints on February 14, the same day the series' third issue hits the stands. The first issue will feature an all-new cover by Grist while #2 will see a recolored version of the original to distinguish them from the first printings. "Even after producing amazing work over the course of almost 20 years, Paul Grist remains one of comics' best kept secrets," said Image Comics Publisher Eric Stephenson in a press release. "Mudman is just the latest example of Paul's wonderfully unique sensibilities, and following the rave reviews the early issues have received, we want to this is something new readers can discover at any time."
