More rumors concerning the time period the Wonder Woman movie's setting are being reported by Heroic Hollywood. Where previous reports have suggested that the film will take place during the 1920s, the latest suggests the film will go back even further, with the first half taking place during World War I.

The second half of the film will then jump to the modern day, though they don't specify if we'll see Diana – rumored to be about 200 years old in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice – first entering the world of man, or if we'll pick up after the events of her Dawn of Justice film debut.

Gal Gadot will play DC's Amazonian princess. The film will begin shooting in November, with Patty Jenkins directing.

Check out when Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Wonder Woman, and other movies are coming out in ComicBook.com's Movie Release Schedule.
