The Rogue Cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past is more than 17 minutes longer than the original cut, and features some changes made by director Bryan Singer.
The film reportedly features an alternate opening sequence set in the apocalyptic future that served as a bookend for the film. It’s called the “Rogue Cut” because it leans heavily on a sequence featuring Anna Paquin’s Rogue and Sir Ian McKellen’s Magneto.
No official date is set yet for the extended cut of Days of Future Past beyond “this summer.”
