The Paramount+ streaming service is now up and running, and one of its biggest content offerings is no doubt the Star Trek Universe. With ViamcomCBS comes the entire library of Star Trek films from Paramount, as well as CBS’ long history of Star Trek TV series. That includes the classics like Star Trek The Original Series, as well as the new age of the rebooted Star Trek Universe, which has gained acclaim through series like Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. Of course, like any streaming service, there will be rotating content on Paramount+, so the question is: what Star Trek Universe content is available on Paramount+ at launch?

Here’s the full breakdown of the Star Trek movies and TV shows Paramount+ now has available:

Star Trek The Original Series

“The iconic series “Star Trek” follows the crew of the starship USS Enterprise as it completes its missions in space in the 23rd century. Captain James T. Kirk — along with half- human/half-Vulcan science officer Spock, ship Dr. “Bones” McCoy, Ensign Pavel Chekov, communications officer Lt. Nyota Uhura, helmsman Lt. Hikaru Sulu and chief engineer Lt. Cmdr. Montgomery “Scotty” Scott — confront strange alien races, friendly and hostile alike, as they explore unknown worlds.”

Star Trek: The Next Generation

“Featuring a bigger and better USS Enterprise, this series is set 78 years after the original series — in the 24th century. Instead of Capt. James Kirk, a less volatile and more mature Capt. Jean-Luc Picard heads the crew of various humans and alien creatures in their adventures in space — the final frontier.”

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

“A spinoff of “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Deep Space Nine” is set on a space station near the planet Bajor. This time, Commander Benjamin Sisko is in charge of a diverse crew. But unlike other “Star Trek” series, there’s no USS Enterprise to help them. Sisko and the crew must fight off rival alien species who want control of Deep Space Nine because of its strategic position close to a wormhole, which allows speedy travel to the far reaches of space.”

Star Trek: Voyager

“Kathryn Janeway is the captain of a starship that is lost in space and must travel across an unexplored region of the galaxy to find its way back home. On its way, the crew encounters different species they must deal with, but find that all their adventures only make them long for home.”

Star Trek: Enterprise

“Set in the mid-22nd century, over 100 years before James T. Kirk helmed the famous vessel, this installment of the “Star Trek” franchise is set on the Enterprise NX-01 — the first Earth starship capable of warp 5 — and explores the history of the interplanetary upheaval that eventually leads to the formation of the Federation.”

Star Trek: Discovery

“After answering a distress signal from the U.S.S. Enterprise, season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery finds the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery joining forces with Captain Christopher Pike on a new mission to investigate seven mysterious red signals and the appearance of an unknown being called the Red Angel. While the crew must work together to unravel their meaning and origin, Michael Burnham is forced to face her past with the return of her estranged brother, Spock.”

Star Trek: Picard

“Star Trek: Picard features Sir Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The new series will follow this iconic character into the next chapter of his life.”

Star Trek: Lower Decks

“The animated comedy series STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS follows the support crew on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380. Ensigns Mariner (Tawny Newsome), Boimler (Jack Quaid), Rutherford (Eugene Cordero) and Tendi (Noรซl Wells) have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.”

Star Trek: Short Treks

“Star Trek: Short Treks are approximately 10-15 minute stand-alone short stories that allow fans to dive deeper into the key themes and characters that fit into Star Trek: Discovery and the expanding Star Trek universe.”

Star Trek: The Animated Series

“The animated adventures of Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock and the crew of the Starship Enterprise.”

Building Star Trek

“When “Star Trek” first aired in 1966, it expanded the viewers’ imaginations about what was possible in their lifetimes. Today, many of the space-age technologies displayed on the show, like space shuttles, cell phones, and desktop computers, have already gone from science fiction to science fact. Other innovations, like warp drive, teleportation, and medical tricorders are actively in development. Join us as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of “Star Trek” – a show that continues to inform, enrich, and inspire.”

Star Trek: The Voyage Home

“It’s the 23rd century, and a mysterious alien power is threatening Earth by evaporating the oceans and destroying the atmosphere. In a frantic attempt to save mankind, Kirk and his crew must time travel back to 1986 San Francisco where they find a world of punk, pizza and exact-change buses that are as alien as anything they’ve ever encountered in the far reaches of the galaxy. A thrilling, action-packed Star Trek adventure!”

Star Trek: Generations

“Stardate: the 23rd Century. Retired Starfleet officers James T. Kirk (William Shatner), Montgomery Scott (James Doohan) and Pavel Chekov (Walter Koenig) are guests of honor aboard the newly christened Enterprise-B. A test run takes an unexpected turn, however, when the starship encounters two vessels trapped inside the Nexus, a mysterious energy ribbon. During a perilous rescue attempt, Kirk is swept out into space. Seven decades later, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and the crew of Enterprise-D rescue an El Aurian physicist named Soran (Malcolm McDowell). Unbeknownst to Picard, Soran harbors a deadly plan that includes the destruction of the Enterprise and millions of lives. Now Picard’s only hope for a future rests within the Nexus… and a legendary captain from the past.”

Star Trek: First Contact

“After an epic battle against the Borg (cybernetically-enhanced life forms), Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise follow the Borg Sphere back into the 21st century to prevent the Borg from contaminating Earth’s timeline and preventing Earth’s first contact. Picard and the crew must work together to battle the Borg Queen before she assimilates all of mankind and changes history forever. Resistance is futile.”

Star Trek: Nemesis

“In the wake of a joyful wedding between Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Troi (Marina Sirtis), Picard receives another reason to celebrate: the Romulans want peace and the captain will be the Federation’s emissary. But as the Enterprise heads toward the Romulan Empire, a brilliant villain awaits – harboring a diabolical plan of destruction and an unimaginable secret that will give Picard his most fearsome challenge. Costarring Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden and introducing Tom Hardy as Picard’s deadly foe.”
