The filmmakers behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be at Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 as expected, Lucasfilm confirmed Wednesday. The primary panel for The Last Jedi will feature Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and writer/director Rian Johnson on Friday April 14, 2017. While those are the only confirmed guests, The Star Wars Show host Andi Guttierez teased, "if you've ever been to a Star Wars Celebration panel, you can bank on there being plenty of surprises, special guests, and unforgettable moments."

Yes, that means there will be castmembers showing up to the panel, as well, just as there have been at the last two Celebration conventions, both of which had a new movie to promote.

There will also be what's expected to be the first footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi at the panel, with rumors pointing to possibly both a behind-the-scenes feature reel, a Star Wars Celebration staple, as well as a teaser trailer for the highly anticipated film. While Star Wars: The Force Awakens had debuted a teaser trailer months earlier and showed its second teaser at Celebration Anaheim in 2015, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story debuted its first trailer in April 2016, and a behind-the-scenes reel at Celebration London in July.

More guests and panels are expected to be announced soon as Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017, running April 13-16 at the Orange County Convention Center, fast approaches.
