Lucasfilm and Disney have revealed a new television spot for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The new commercial, which debuted during the World Series, features much of the footage and dialogue from the recently released Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer, as well as some new material from the upcoming film.
Take a look above.
Hopefully, this new television spot will be enough to tide fans over until the next Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer is released.
Director Rian Johnson promises that Star Wars: The Last Jedi is going to be a tough one for the series' characters.
"When I first read the script of The Force Awakens, I was like, 'I feel like I know these characters instantly.' And now we get to kind of put them through a meat grinder," Johnson said.
"And for me, part of that meant that we had to make things as hard on each of them as possible: At least part of the movie, they don’t have their friends around. They’ve got to figure things out for themselves. They’ve got to be faced with whatever the toughest thing each of them can be faced with, and they’re not going to have their buddy there next to them to get them out of it, necessarily."
It sounds like Star Wars fans should expect to see Rey, Poe Dameron, and Finn, and possibly even Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker, pushed to the very limits of their abilities, possibly changing the galaxy along the way.
