Who's the cuddliest bounty hunter in the galaxy? Boba Fett, of course, or at least he is now that he's the latest addition to Build-A-Bear Workshop's ever-growing Star Wars line. This summer has seen a full-size Wicket the Ewok and Yoda join the line, and starting today, the Mandelorian bounty hunter comes to the 17-inch line with a new plush and blaster accessory.
The Boba Fett Bear runs $35, is available right now at this link, and has every detail on his costume that you'd expect, replete with the cape, the knee pads, and the signature style of his helmet - with the ears and face of a teddy bear, of course. For an extra $10 you can get his blaster, modeled after those seen in Star Wars films and games. You can order him online, or head to a Build-A-Bear store in the U.S., Canada, and U.K. to find him for yourself.
The timing for Boba Fett Bear couldn't be better, as Star Wars Celebration Europe kicks off Friday for a weekend of Star Wars news and fun in London, England. The three-day convention will feature news on upcoming films like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars: Episode VIII, and the as-yet-untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story film, plus news on Star Wars Rebels and the lineup of Star Wars video games. Who knows, there might even be a Boba Fett sighting somewhere in those announcements, and if not, at least you can have him by your side in cuddly form.
