It is with heavy hearts that fans learned today that Star Wars' Carrie Fisher passed away. Shortly before Christmas, the iconic actress was rushed to a local Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack on a flight home from London. Sadly, the actress succumbed after being treated, and fans all over the world are mourning the tragic loss.

At this time, all of the fans' thoughts and prayers go out to Carrie Fisher's family and friends. In the coming days, fans will take time to pay proper respect to the actress for her beautiful career and unapologetic desire to be her truest self. Not only was Fisher an accomplished actress, but she was also a sought-after for her script doctoring skills. She worked on her magic on the Star Wars prequels, and Fisher was also a passionate advocate for mental health issues.
