Po-Zu Unveils A Shiny 'Star Wars' Resistance Sneaker

London-based footwear company Po-Zu finally launched pre-orders for their highly anticipated Star Wars shoe collection earlier this month, but tomorrow will be your only chance to snag a pair of these shiny limited edition high-top Resistance sneakers. Only 1000 pairs will be made, and pre-orders will open on Friday, August 25th at 6pm GMT (2pm EST, 11am PST) with shipment slated for October.
Apparently, they are the first in a series of special edition Star Wars sneakers that Po-Zu plans to release between now and late 2018. The shoes will set you back £150 ($193 US) and that doesn't include shipping if you live outside of the UK. That is quite expensive, so I highly suggest checking out the Sperry Star Wars shoe collection if the Po-Zu sneakers don't fall within your budget. They're not quite as stylish and eco-friendly, but still pretty fantastic - and considerably more affordable.

0commentsHandcrafted in Portugal, the Limited-Edition Silver Resistance Sneakers are made from Pinnatex (pineapple leaf fibre, a vegan leather alternative) combined with silver woven linen, and featuring a rubberised official Rebel Alliance badge, quilted rear panel, removable memory foam Foot-MattressTM, and a high-performance grip natural latex sole.

Retailing at £150, pre-orders will be available from Friday 25th September 6pm GMT, with product set to ship in October 2017, just in time for Christmas and the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The Limited-Edition High-Top Silver Resistance Sneaker will be on display in London with the rest of the collection at the Museum of Brands for London Design Week from 1st September.
This is the first in a series of new special-edition sustainable shoes set to be released about the co-branded Star Wars | Po-Zu collaboration which will continue through to late 2018.
