Zack Snyder is best known for lending his talents to the DC Extended Universe, but he channeled a certain galaxy far, far, away this Halloween.
The Justice League director recently debuted his Luke Skywalker Halloween costume on his Vero account. The photo, which you can check out below, shows Snyder channeling Mark Hamill’s Star Wars character, complete with a lightsaber and blaster.

Snyder also shared a photo of him with a young costumed Darth Vader, who he met at his son’s school Halloween party. He deemed the costume “Impressive, most impressive”, referencing the iconic Vader line from The Empire Strikes Back.
As you would expect, the Internet had quite a bit of fun with the latter photo, with Reddit user stanleyThe captioning it “Luke, I’m your Martha.”
Snyder has used the photo-sharing platform for quite some time, with the director using it to share various behind-the-scenes looks at his DCEU films. With the release of Justice League fast approaching, Snyder has posted some sort of behind-the-scenes photo almost daily, to the delight of fans.
In recent days, Snyder’s photos have highlighted a sequence between Batman and Aquaman, The Flash visiting Gotham, and even Snyder unintentionally homaging another DC Comics hero. And while these new Halloween photos might not tie into the highly-anticipated film, they’re sure to make plenty of fans smile.
Justice League lands in theaters on November 17th.
